Accessibility statement

Commitment

Oswaldo Ramiro Armijos Sánchez is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people who use a screen reader, browse with the keyboard only, or have visual, hearing or mobility difficulties. This statement covers https://oswaldoarmijos.com/ in Spanish, English and Catalan.

Conformance status

The website has been designed and built following the Level AA success criteria of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. On 21 October 2026 an automated technical review of all pages was carried out in the three languages (structure, text alternatives, form labels, page language, colour contrast and navigation), and no outstanding failures were found. This is a self-assessment: no external accessibility audit has been carried out.

Measures applied

  • Semantic structure: a single main heading (H1) per page, an ordered heading hierarchy and identified regions (navigation, main content and footer).
  • A “Skip to content” link at the start of every page and full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator.
  • Colour contrast checked across the site palette (text, links, buttons and footer), with a minimum of 4.5:1 for normal text.
  • Text alternatives on meaningful images; purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Forms with a label associated with every field.
  • Language declared on every page and an accessible language selector (Spanish, English and Catalan).
  • Layout that adapts to mobile, tablet and desktop, without disabling zoom.
  • Main buttons sized comfortably for touch screens.
  • Links with descriptive text and buttons with an accessible name.
  • Respect for the system preference to reduce motion.

Known limitations

  • The map on the contact page is a third-party service (OpenStreetMap) that only loads if you allow it; its accessibility depends on that service. The phone number, email and working area are also given as text.
  • No testing has been done with screen readers or with users.
